The Texas A&M Health Science Center is committed to providing a safe and healthful environment for faculty, staff, students and visitors. To assist in this goal, a training program has been established to provide HSC personnel with the knowledge and tools necessary to reduce the risks associated with their work to the lowest level possible. The implementation of this program is shared between the HSC component's Safety Office and the HSC's Risk Management and EHSM programs. The Component Safety office will provide "Site Specific" training covering information unique to that location. The HSC training will consist of an online Learning Management System.
This Learning Management System (LMS) is an efficient and interactive format that allows access 24 hours a day from any location with Internet access. In addition, the LMS allows HSC Administration to schedule, track and monitor participant progress and to generate reports and customize courses and curricula.
While some courses are mandatory for HSC employees, Risk Management and EHS will work with the Components in assigning additional courses according to job specific hazard exposures. If you or your department would like to receive additional course assignments or discuss your specific training needs, please have your supervisor contact HSC Risk Management, Matt Walton at (979) 458-7241 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
To access the online training, please click on the link below. As a HSC Employee, you have already been enrolled in the system and will use your University Identification Number (UIN) to log in. If you have questions or are having problems logging in, please contact Matt.
