Introduction

In 2005, the administration of the Texas A&M Health Science Center determined that our organization's interests would best be served by bringing a measure of uniformity to the diverse graphic identities by which we were recognized.

The logo you see above has been carefully designed to serve as a symbol that the public, faculty, staff, alumni and students may immediately recognize. It is no less than our organization's "fingerprint," and by using it properly, we protect and enhance a substantial investment.

Within this branding guide, we define basic guidelines for visually identifying the HSC.

Areas covered include:

  • the official logo and tagline, correct usage and variations thereof
  • correct and recommended imagery
  • a chosen voice and writing style
  • preferred and recommended colors for print and web
  • co-branding guidelines
  • templates and stationery
  • and much more

Consistent application of these guidelines will reinforce public awareness of the Health Science Center, resulting in a unique and effective visual style and a stronger, more unified presence.
