CARE Fair

The purpose of the CARE Fair, held each fall,  is to gain momentum and enthusiasm for the CARE program, showcase accomplishments, create awareness of upcoming programs, and provide a fun environment for  inter-professional fellowships. Poster presentations during the CARE Fair give visibility to research, teaching/learning activities, and projects that are related to the advancement of our program goals.

Opening Speaker, Dr. Brett Giroir

Guest Speaker, Dr. Danielle Ofri

“….medicine is still fundamentally a human endeavor its done by humans to other human beings… so how we choose or choose not to pay attention to these emotions have effect fundamentally to our patients…” -Dr. Danielle Ofri, MD, PhD, Bellevue Hospital*

*Bellevue Hospital is the oldest public hospital in the country. Dr. Ofri writes about medicine and the doctor-patient connection for The New York Times and other publications.
